80 Acres is a retreat and educational center in Leavenworth County,Kansas that is only limited by your imagination. The center is literally 80 acres of wooded prairie along the ancient bluffs of the Missouri River Valley. A place to explore nature yet have the comforts of home and the city. The property has two large spring-fed ponds, which add to the wide variety of activities offered. The Clubhouse overlooking the upper pond has hosted weddings, receptions, family reunions, music shows and dance parties.
Planning Your Visit
Day Passes include fishing, canoeing, hiking or just sitting watching the herons and hawks. At a cost of only $5 per person, a day pass is an economical way to spend the entire day enjoying the outdoors.
The large Clubhouse overlooks the upper pond and is complete with restrooms, shower and a commercial-style kitchen.
The center has one 4-season cabin that overlooks the garden and the lower pond.
Gardens are currently being built around 80 Acres providing food, medicine and beauty. These are being built by the faculty, students and graduates of PrairieWise Herbal School.

From Kansas City take I-70 West to K-7 North; K-7 North to Eisenhower Road, turn left; Eisenhower Road to 20th Street, turn right; 20th Street to Tonganoxie Road, turn left; Tonganoxie Road to Michals Road, turn right; Michals Road to 167th Street, turn right; we are the 2nd driveway on the left with the 80 Acres sign.
